The HX100 can do so many really cool things. Like panorama pictures, 10 frames per second, 3D video, regular video, 30X zoom, and more. I find the color to be vivid and just can not say anything bad about this camera. It has all the settings a beginner would need, yet it has room to grow with lots of manual settings as well. It has a great software program for your pictures as well. I love this camera. Over vacation I went up against my sister in laws Professional grade SLR camera we took shots of the same thing at the same settings and mine looked better every time. I was quite surprised with this but also very happy with my cameras performance.
